My name is Kathleen Strauel and I teach 3rd grade.  This is my 15th year at St. A.  Before that I taught 2nd grade in the West Delaware School District.  I received my BA in Elementary Education with a reading endorsement at UNI.  I live on a farm east of Jesup with my husband, Bob, and our two daughters, Claire, a senior at Don Bosco High School, and Caroline, a sophomore at Coe College in Cedar Rapids.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking, baking, and traveling.
