My name is Jenni Schares and this is my 19th year at St. A. I grew up in Waterloo, Iowa, and I attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Columbus High School. I graduated from UNI with a BA in elementary and middle school education and have also completed course work in UNI’s master’s program for middle school mathematics. For 20 years I have coached volleyball at Don Bosco High School. I teach 7th grade reading, English, and religion, pre-algebra, algebra and 7-8 science. I love the community and family atmosphere we have at St. A. My husband Curtis and I live in Jesup with our two children Addison and Evan, who both attend St. A. I enjoy coaching, playing and watching sports, especially the Cubs and UNI Panthers, reading, baking, and spending time with my family.
